Popped open a jar of the Hungarian wax peppers I pickled at the end of September. They are sweet, thanks to the cider vinegar, and remarkably flavorful. The peppers themselves were great, anyhow, but the garlic, salt, and oregano really adds something. I sense the possibility of a pickled pepper eating contest at work this week ( Read more... )

I've been taking on a LOT of extra work at the Pitch. Two or three concert reviews a week, and as many CD reviews, calendar entries, and band profiles as they'll give me. Danger Bob again tonight. Last night was fantastic, and going to work on two hours' sleep was totally worth it. Amazingly, there were no mistakes, errors, or anything of the like. As a matter of fact, I managed to actually do things better than I do most Saturdays.
